Javier Aguirre, Eduardo Bergallo, Eva Cebrián, and Rafa Sardina are the Newly Elected Members of the Board of Trustees
MIAMI (May 30, 2017) — The Latin Recording Academy® confirms the election of Javier Aguirre, Eduardo Bergallo, Eva Cebrián, and Rafa Sardina to serve on The Latin Recording Academy's Board of Trustees for the next three years. They, along with the continuing members of the Board, assume the great responsibility of enforcing bylaws, in addition to creating committees—executive, finance, governance, television, nomination, and award—to chart the course of The Latin Recording Academy.

Javier Aguirre is currently the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Cisneros Corporation, one of the largest privately held media, entertainment, telecommunications, and consumer products organizations in the world. Prior to joining Cisneros, he functioned as CFO for AOL Latin America and collaborated with the team that sought the completion of the company's IPO. Aguirre holds a MBA from Monterrey Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree from National Autonomous University of México.
Latin GRAMMY® award winning engineer Eduardo Bergallo has worked on more than 2,800 albums from a wide range of artists including Aterciopelados, Gustavo Cerati, Fonseca, Natalia Lafourcade, Lucybell, Shakira, Soda Stereo, among others. The critically acclaimed engineer has been an active member of The Latin Recording Academy since 2009. In addition to his skills behind the soundboard, he offers lectures and seminars throughout Latin America.
Eva Cebrián is a multimedia executive who has extensive experience in the music and entertainment industry and currently holds the role of director at PRISA radio Spain, the largest Spanish-language radio group that is comprised by top radio stations such as Los40, Cadena Dial, Máxima FM, M80 Radio, and Radiolé in 13 countries within Europe, United States, and Latin America. Cebrián's extensive knowledge of music propelled her to hold key titles in leading communications companies such as SER (Sociedad Española de Radiodifusión), Radio y Television Española, Social Noise, On Demand Media, and Stage Entertainment Spain.
Los Angeles-based and nine-time Latin GRAMMY®- and three-time GRAMMY®-winning producer, mixer and engineer Rafa Sardina has built an eclectic and impressive client list, including Beyoncé, Beto Cuevas, Calle 13, Plácido Domingo, Alejandro Fernández, Juan Gabriel, Michael Jackson, Juanes, Natalia Lafourcade, Rodrigo y Gabriela, among others. Sardina has received more than 15 GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY nominations throughout his career for his stellar work with artists such as D'Angelo, Luis Miguel, and Alejandro Sanz, among others. Though the producer is best known for working on pop, rock, and R&B projects, he has recorded and mixed just about any genre of music you can imagine.
