The Biggest Night in Latin Music® Airs Live on the
Univision Network Nov. 16 from 8–11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central)
MIAMI (Nov. 13, 2017) — Performances by current Latin GRAMMY® nominees Rubén Blades, Bomba Estéreo, Alejandro Fernández, and Los Macorinos; along with appearances by Diplo, Víctor Manuelle, and Carlos Rivera have been added to the 18th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards®. Featuring a Best New Artist segment including current nominees Vicente García, Mau y Ricky, Sofia Reyes, and Danay Suarez. The Biggest Night in Latin Music® will air live on the Univision Network Nov. 16 from 8–11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The diverse lineup of performers are joined by presenters Anavitória, Camila Cabello, Sofia Carson, Erika Ender, Flo Rida, Leslie Grace, Maribel Guardia, Juan Luis Guerra, Rudy Mancuso, Debi Nova, Marco de la O, Alexandre Pires, Lele Pons, Edgar Ramírez, Miguel Ángel Silvestre, Olga Tañón, and Wilmer Valderrama, as well as Best New Artist nominees Martina "La Peligrosa" and Rosalía.
Special performances will feature collaborations by Juanes with Logic and Alessia Cara; Carlos Vives and Sebastián Yatra; J Balvin with Bad Bunny, French Montana and Steve Aoki; Lila Downs and Banda el Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga; and Bronco with HaAsh.
Latin GRAMMY winner Alejandro Fernández is up for Record of The Year for "Quiero Que Vuelvas" and Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Performance. Cuban singer Danay Suarez garnered four nominations including Album Of The Year for Palabras Manuales. Dominican singer Vicente García earned five Latin GRAMMY nominations including Album Of The Year for A La Mar.
In addition, Los Macorinos earned a nomination for Album Of The Year for their musical talents on Natalia Lafourcade’s album Musas, and Panamanian salsa singer Rubén Blades is up for Album Of The Year and Best Salsa Album for Salsa Big Band, and Record Of The Year for "La Flor De La Canela."
Setting the stage for an incredible evening for Latin music, they join the previously announced lineup of performers and presenters including: Steve Aoki, Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Bronco, Alessia Cara, CNCO, Lila Downs, Luis Fonsi, Ha*Ash, Nicky Jam, Juanes, Mon Laferte, Natalia Lafourcade, Banda el Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga, Logic, Maluma, Lin Manuel Miranda, French Montana, Residente, Sofía Reyes, Alejandro Sanz, Flor de Toloache, Carlos Vives, and Sebastián Yatra.
The 18th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards® will be hosted by Jaime Camil and Roselyn Sánchez.
LatinGRAMMY.com will offer through Facebook Live, exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of the 18th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards. The live stream will include interviews from various locations, including the red carpet, Latin GRAMMY Premiere® ceremony, backstage, and the media center, beginning at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.
Preceding the Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast, the Univision Network will present exclusive "Noche de Estrellas" ("Night of Stars") coverage of celebrity arrivals direct from the Latin GRAMMY red carpet, starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central). "Noche de Estrellas" will feature live interviews and commentary on the stars and their fashions, and provide viewers with an intimate look at Latin music's most glamorous event while connecting fans with their favorite celebrities via social media using #LatinGRAMMY.
