Latin GRAMMY En Vivo Will Begin Live Streaming via LatinGRAMMY.com on Nov. 18 at
11 a.m. PT and Include a Full Live Stream Of The Latin GRAMMY Premiere
MIAMI (Nov. 10 , 2015) — Costa Rican singer/songwriter Debi Nova will host The Latin GRAMMY Premiere, which will precede the 16th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards™ telecast. Current Latin GRAMMY nominees Astrid Asher, Monsieur Periné, NoTeVaGustar, and Onze:20 will perform and kick off The Biggest Night In Latin Music®. Additionally, Ana Carolina and current Latin GRAMMY® nominees, Alex Cuba, Aida Cuevas, JotDog, and Berta Rojas will present awards in approximately 90 percent of the night's categories. The Latin GRAMMY Premiere will stream live on Univision.com and LatinGRAMMY.com on Nov. 19 beginning at 2 p. m. PT/5 p.m. ET from the KÀ Theatre at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The 16th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will air live on Nov. 19 on Univision from 8 – 11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Latin GRAMMY En Vivo will be hosted by Kike Posada, Nastassja Bolívar and Carolina Macallister. Live streaming will kick off with the Latin Recording Academy's® 2015 Special Awards Presentation on Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. PT/2 p.m. ET. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award honorees are Gato Barbieri, Ana Belén and Víctor Manuel, Angela Carrasco, Djavan, El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico, and Pablo Milanés. This year's Trustees Award honorees are Federico Britos, Humberto Gatica and Chelique Sarabia.
Additionally, music fans will be granted behind-the-scenes access to The Biggest Night in Latin Music, on Nov. 19 beginning at 2 p.m. PT/5 p.m. ET, featuring interviews from various locations including the red carpet, the Latin GRAMMY Premiere™, backstage, and the media center.
The 16th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards will be supported via Univision Radio (the official Spanish-language radio network of the Latin GRAMMY Awards), and highlighted at www.latingrammy.com and www.univision.com/latingrammy, with video interviews and photos, an extensive archive of past shows, a live-blog, and dedicated forums for fans to share their excitement leading up to the live broadcast. Additionally, the telecast will be distributed internationally to more than 80 countries.
Preceding the Latin GRAMMY Awards telecast, Univision will present exclusive "Noche De Estrellas" ("Night Of The Stars") coverage of the celebrity arrivals direct from the Latin GRAMMY Awards red carpet starting at 7 p.m. ET/PT (6 p.m. Central). "Noche De Estrellas" will feature live interviews and commentary on the stars and their fashion, and will provide viewers an intimate look at Latin music's most glamorous event while connecting fans with their favorite celebrities via social media.
